Cert IL Alert - Muddy Water campaign in Israel

In March 2024 the National Cyber Directorate identified an active phishing campaign within the Israeli domain. It is assessed that the campaign is primarily aimed against government sectors and local authorities. The directorate attributes this campaign to the Iranian hacking group MuddyWater based on familiarity with the groups infrastructure and their typical Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).
