Hackers are now using ZIP file bundling to avoid detection

Researchers at Perception Point have discovered a new phishing attack method in which hackers target Windows machines using a ZIP file concatenation technique to deliver malicious payloads. This method exploits the differing ways ZIP parsers and archive managers handle concatenated ZIP files which are archives consisting of multiple ZIP structures combined into one.
