Formbook Campaign Targeting Italian Users

Researchers recently uncovered a malspam campaign targeting users based in Italy distributing Formbook malware known for its information-stealing capabilities. The campaign uses an email claiming an overdue invoice to create a sense of urgency for the recipient to open a malware-laden attached 7Z compressed file. If the victim opens the file and the malware payload is executed this will initiate the malwares infostealing activities.
