Ransomware Roundup - KageNoHitobito and DoNex

Fortiguard Labs Threat Research provides insights into the KageNoHitobito and DoNex ransomware variants. KageNoHitobito emerged in late March 2024 and encrypts victims files while DoNex is a financially motivated ransomware group that encrypts files on local drives and network shares. The initial infiltration methods used by the threat actors are unspecified.
